Brady Underwood, Owner & Environmental Scientist
Growing up in Southern Appalachia, Brady’s passion for natural resource management & species conservation began at an early age. In 2019, he earned his B.S. of Environmental Science and Biology with a focus in Natural Resources, Biodiversity, and Conservation from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Brady started out his career as a Wildland Firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service, he then worked for local government as a Soil and Water Conservationist and Environmental Specialist. Eventually, Brady’s career led him into manufacturing, working as an Environmental Manager and Engineer. During his career, Brady has earned proficiencies in Wildland Fire Ecology, Soil & Water Conservation, Ecological Restoration, Water Quality Management, and Environmental Compliance.
Luke Fryar, Owner & Land Manager
For over a decade Luke has worked as a professional builder and carpenter in Northwest Georgia. A lifetime resident of the mountains, Luke has been an avid outdoorsman and conservationist since childhood. His passion for the outdoors is matched by his ability to build, implement, and manage resources. Throughout his life he has continually managed wildlife habitat through prescribed fire, seeding, selective thinning, and invasive species eradication. Luke is highly proficient in native habitat restoration, whitetail deer management, habitat improvement, timber stand Improvement, and heavy equipment operations.
Dallas York, Taxonomist & Naturalist
From a young age, Dallas found a deep appreciation for the rich biodiversity of Northwest Georgia’s Ridge and Valley ecosystems. His passion for environmental conservation led Dallas to pursue a career in Ecology and Taxonomy. In the beginning of his career, Dallas worked with the U.S. Forest Service surveying the rare Georgia aster and spent a season collecting native seeds with the Southeastern Grasslands Institute. More recently, Dallas has worked with an Ecological Restoration and Native Landscaping firm while pursuing his B.S. of Environmental Science & Biology at Dalton State College. Throughout his career, Dallas has acquired an advanced ability of identifying native flora, fauna, and ecosystem types. His proficiencies in wildlife biology and ecology have helped Dallas become one of the best naturalists in Northwest Georgia.
